later boldly opened her own tattoo studio there, aptly naming it Infinity Tattoo. Besides the day to day tattoo artistry, Amanda works in many different mediums, from painting and drawing to textile arts including, designing and sewing garments, textile manipulation, knitting, crocheting and many others.

 

Amanda started making dolls ten years ago inspired by her mother, who had also been a doll maker. Mother and daughter have collaborated weaving their broad range of skills on several projects together, and continue to inspire each other.

 

Amanda continues to live in Portland with her husband and two teens.

Amanda Sue Myers grew up in San Diego and later earned her BFA from California Institute of the Arts in costume design. After moving to Portland in 1990 she started a tattoo apprenticeship and three years
